LHM was appointed to support The CIM with its latest Social Media Benchmark Study, launching a website and survey.
The Chartered Institute of Marketing is the world’s largest organisation for professional marketers with a key role in educating, developing and representing the profession.
The Social Media Benchmark is a new, rolling six-monthly study exploring how marketers are adapting to, investing in and getting value from social media. The project led by The Chartered Institute of Marketing and supported by Bloomberg, Ipsos ASI, Bazaarvoice and GfM, is the definitive guide to the changing role and potential of social media in business.
The results from the study have received great awareness from the industry press and from businesses globally. As part of the study, 900 senior UK marketers took part as part of a 1500 strong global panel. The CIM plans to carry out further studies to help marketers benchmark the way they use social media in the future.
LHM set to work on creating an inclusive survey and website for companies of all sizes, from independent consultants and SMEs to blue-chip corporates. Furthermore, social media was central to the campaign utilising YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.
