LHM is delighted to be announced as a finalist in the 2012 Dadi Awards best ‘Retail Website or Campaign’ category for Card Town, a new personalised greeting card site that has been a massive success for our client CEWE Color this year.
The world’s leading photo-finishing company CEWE Color formed in 1961 and appointed LHM for its new project in September 2011.
After a detailed research and planning phase we launched the new brand and E-Commerce website January 2012 with Valentine’s Day our big opportunity in the greetings card calendar. We then developed a series of national integrated campaigns that included Email Marketing, Display Advertising, PR and Social Media channels.
The campaigns generated a surge of Social Media followers, TV coverage and traffic. Furthermore, our initial Valentines campaign was such a triumph for the new brand it placed its workforce on a seven day shift 24hrs to cope with orders with over 70,000 in the first two weeks of launch.
Since then we’ve gone on to create an affiliate service for Card Town in conjunction with Jessops, an iPhone app called Card Town Occasions and a Facebook app that reminds people when Birthdays are approaching.
The awards this year were opened up to London agencies for the first time, so we knew we’d have some of the UK’s best competition, which makes this even more of an achievement. The awards ceremony will take place 8 November in the Emirates Stadium in London.
